This stunning vest is made in the Fair Isle technique whereby intricate patterns are made using yarns of different colors - if you look on the inside (see pictures of labels), you can see the yarns not being used "carried" to their next location. The name Fair Isle comes from the Shetland Island of the same name where the technique originated in the 1800's.
Notice how the pattern align around the piece: that is a mark of quality. Notice also haw the buttons that say "Chaps" are sewn on in an "x" pattern - also a quality mark.
This beauty is made from a blend of 60% cotton/23% acrylic/17 polyester so you can machine wash in cold water.
Measurements: 20 1/2" pit-to-pit; 22" from base of back neck to hem.
